Next week (Wednesday - Friday, 4th-6th of June) is going to be Active School Week in St Nicholas of Myra. There are lots of fun things going to be happening, like a cycleathon, a penalty shootout competition, a hoops competition, a skipping challenge, a keepy-uppy challenge, a school Mexican wave, a school Haka as Gaeilge, Drop Everything and Dance, a teachers vs pupils basketball match, and much more!
It's set to be a great week, so keep an eye out for posters around the school and get set for loads of "active" fun!

Wednesday
Early morning activity: 8.50
am (10 mins activity)
Cycleathon (all day – 5 mins per child) 9-10.30 (Miss Quaid),
11-12.25 (Miss Moriarty Sen inf and first class girls), 1.15-2.30 (First class
boys and second class girls)
Walk: 5 mins walk in the yard
Drop Everything and Dance (10.28 am) music comes over
intercom
Whole school Mexican wave (12.25 pm)
Lunchtime: skipping challenge, keepy-uppy challenge,
penalties, hoops
Thursday
